FROM THE FOUNDER
I never thought something as simple as swimwear could make me feel so unseen. Growing up in Colombia, surrounded by beaches, rivers, and the Caribbean sun, the water has always felt like home to me. But for years, I avoided the beach and the pool not because I didn’t love them, but because I couldn’t find a swimsuit that felt right for my body, or for who I am. That gap between how I felt inside and what the world offered me is what planted the seed for andi.
andi was born from a simple but radical idea: that swimwear should honor real bodies, real identities, and real ways of being in the world. We design for the in-between sizes, the in-between genders, the in-between moods with pieces that work, and that let you feel like yourself, in the water and out.

In 2023, we started working on better swimwear options for people who felt left out by the status quo.

We believed we could create swimwear that actually works — not just in fit, but in how it makes you feel.
Our first collection focused on that personal need, but creating options for a broader spectrum of gender expressions is already in the works.
We design every piece with care — focusing on quality, function, and how it feels to wear.
At the same time, we’re constantly listening to our community and working to expand our styles, fits, and options based on real needs and feedback.
